Competition Shows
The Mandeville High School Marching Band participates in several marching band festivals from the end of September through November, performing their halftime show. The band competes against groups from across the state and often travel across the Gulf Coast and often wins awards in: Guard, Percussion, Drum Major, and Overall Band
The band also competes annually in the Marching Band State Championships hosted by Lafayette Music Company, typically on the first Saturday in November. Band are judged and ranked by out-of-state adjudicators. The MHS Band has won numerous awards including Best in Class in several captions.
